The Middle East is an area where car is king and fuel is inexpensive, frequently leaving little incentive to find more environmentally-friendly methods of walking around.

But this year, as protests across the Middle East have risen the price of oil, the of discovering alternative sources of fuel has actually entered into sharp focus.

In an area that has one of the greatest carbon footprints on the planet, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to discover alternatives to oil.
